Of note, if you have an eligible credit card, the TSA precheck application fee of $85 (current fee as of 6/14/2022) may be able to be waived or reimbursed. Check the below link for additional details and a list of what cards have this benefit.
(If you are still debating and wondering if it is worth it, I can tell you from personal experience, it is, especially during holidays or if you are running behind to catch your flight.)
